Objective: Create a gig poster for a guitar centered artist.
Concept: Legend has it that Robert Johnson was an adequate guitar player at best but he went away for a year, met the devil at a crossroads and sold his soul for the “ungodly” talent he possessed when he came back to the music scene. He paid the price through his painful life experiences that followed, including his own murder at 27 via poisoning in 1938. Though he passed at a young age, many consider him the most important Blues player to ever live. His music inspired great musicians such as Bob Dylan, Keith Richards, and Robert Plant. This poster for the Master of the Blues conveys the man, the music, and the legend.
